Semana 32 LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION!!
So lots of things happened this week,
First off my comp and I testified against this guy who was
bashing the church and wow, I have never felt the spirit so strong in my life,
confirming what I was doing and saying was right. I know that the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church of Christ and that He personally leads this church through the prophet who lives today, Russell M Nelson.
Another thing that happened was that my comp and I did a lot
of service. First we helped one of the families that we are visiting move a
huge mountain of sand into their house. Saturday my zone helped the
community clean and widen one of their open sewage stream/river things. It was
gross but I was happy to help.
Last but not least there was a house on fire in the little
suburb where I live. I found this out when I heard screams in the streets and
the other elder that I live with came into the house screaming FIRE!! So I put my shoes on and got to work. First I was with elder Botelho (not my comp), we calmly observed as the power lines fell down as they were burning and
started to empty the house closest to the fire. While doing this we lost the
other 2 elders until this guy kicked down a metal door and we saw them
throwing water on open flames. So Elder Botelho and I started running 20 liter
buckets of water to the people who were throwing water on the fire. But as all
sensible (people) do when they see fire and people running buckets of water THEY PULL
OUT THEIR PHONES, STAND IN THE DOORWAY AND WATCH!!!! really it's the only
sensible thing to do. So I was running buckets and Elder Botelho was yelling at
the people to move. Teamwork at its finest. We did this for about 30 min until the firefighters got there. So i might be on YouTube or Facebook.
So I'm fine, no burns, just hard work for the Lord.
estoy bien aquí en la isla de la selva porque es un otro día
en paraiso
